Got a ridiculous week ahead...2 midterms and I'm moving! I HATE MOVING! Hopefully it will be an easy process - I'm doing a bit by bit by the day.

I will say this though - moving is one of those things that is both good and bad (as with anything in life). On the one hand, I'll miss the nights and the memories I've had at this place (well...maybe I don't remember too many nights..) but it's also good for me to get a fresh start. Haha, it's kinda funny I keep running in these circles of new beginnings and such. At least I know when it's time to say peace, pack my stuff, and move along...

That's what life is anyway right? Do something for a while until it's time to pick up and go. Or maybe that's just my wandering spirit talking. Guess that's why women hate on my style...I pose no sense of stability. Or maybe women don't like me cause I'm too good for em - that's mostly the case. Haha.

As I look around at my white walls and the lack of things that use to compose my room, I find myself not feeling lonely or empty. I think I learned all the things and experienced all the things I was supposed to from this place. I'm surprised I made it out alive - but I guess I say that on a day to day basis. All I have left to do now is experience what comes next...

Twas another Sunday night in the Leach lab cept this time around I had brought the good ol Lammy. to come kick it with me. About halfway through my work, I realized I had to pee. All seemed normal - I mean, I pee like 20 times a day anyway cause of my small bladder...

Anywho, I let the man know I had to go, and then he said he had to go too. So we adventured around the corner to use the facilities when he said to me, "Dood, we should see who can last longer!"

Now, being the man I am, I never let a challenge down. So we assumed our positions counted down to three and then went.

2 minutes later I was pronounced the winner.

Why am I the best at peeing? Who knows...it's just the way it is.

Guess us men are just too damn competitive with everything.

Today's Topic - Balance.

And no, I'm not talkin about the thing I use to weigh out stuff in my lab. (Aight, that was pretty lame...)

As the days continue to fly by and I reminisce on the days that have passed, I continue to bring things from the past into my everyday life again. Now I know you're probably wondering what the hell that means (trust me, I am to) but let me break it down for y'all.

I've always known that life is simple, REAL simple for that matter, and that to be happy there's a certain recipe that you must follow. Yet, I rarely follow that recipe and I'm rarely truly happy.

But when I do open my eyes, mind, and heart (body, mind and soul) and stay true to myself and my beliefs, the world seems all that much better. The trees seem greener, the sun shines brighter, people seem nicer, and I feel that "all good" feeling.

What's the recipe? It differs for us all so I can't tell y'all how to live your lives. I know for me its combining the triad of life - body, mind, and soul.



And following the path of compassion.
